Thank you to everyone who joined us for Fall Conferences this week. Our teachers love connecting with you and discussing all the amazing things your kiddos have been up to so far this school year.

We hope you enjoy Fall Break Week!

Attendance Matters.

Nationwide, only 17% of students considered chronically absent in K and 1st grades were reading proficiently in 3rd grade; comparatively, 64% of those students with good attendance were reading proficiently.

Between 8th and 12th grade, a student who is chronically absent is 7.4 times more likely to drop out of school.

By prioritizing school, you’re helping your child understand the importance of their education, and building healthy habits and skills for their future.

We understand that there may be occasional circumstances that lead to absences, such as illness or family emergencies. In such cases, please ensure that you notify the school as soon as possible. Our staff is here to support your child’s academic progress and will provide makeup work and additional assistance when needed.

Saugatuck Dunes Field Trip

Our 2nd- 4th graders went for a hike in Saugatuck Dunes this week and learned about Nurse Logs and their importance in our forests.

Goose Festival Update

Due to the rainy forecast, the Goose Festival Parade has been moved to Sunday. Same time, same place, just different day.

Trunk or Treat

Halloween will be here before we know it. Do you have your trunk theme yet? Let Ms Krista know if you plan to participate.
