REMINDER…

WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING EVERYONE WHEN SCHOOL RESUMES ON MONDAY, APRIL 12TH.

FOR MIDDLE SCHOOL STUDENTS AND FAMILIES

  • 8th Graders are taking the PSAT on TUESDAY, APRIL 13. We need to meet at the school at 6:45 a.m. to leave for Holland. We are testing at the Summit West Olive church in the morning. Mr. Marty, Ms. Carrie, and Ms. Bailey will be going as proctors and will drive the kids.
  • Running Club will start Tuesday, April 13 as well.  A printed copy of the program will be sent home on Monday the 12.  Please read it for times, dates, policies, etc….
  • Middle school will be starting their final project the week of the 19 – we are growing a garden and setting up a stand!  If you have seeds you would like to donate, please feel free to send them in. We also need hoses, a timer for watering when we are not here, hand tools (rakes, hand shovels).  We will also send more detailed information after our first week back.

ATTENTION ALL BUS RIDERS

Please remind your child(ren) that it is unsafe to take items and toys out of your backpack while riding the bus. We ask that all bus riders keep everything in their backpacks while on the bus. In addition, all bus riders are required to wear a mask before entering the bus. Thank you!

PHOTO/VIDEO COLLECTION

Beginning the week of March 22nd we will be taking many photos and videos around our campus to use for future marketing projects. If you wish your child not to be photographed individually or even as part of a group, please email reita.jaseph@innocademy.com. In the email, please specify if an individual photo is not okay, but a group of students would be fine. Or if you’d prefer neither be taken.

ATTENDANCE

As a reminder, attendance is taken twice each day by the teachers. We must report his is information to the State of Michigan. If your child will be absent from school, please email us at iac-attendance@innocademy.com. Students will be marked tardy if they arrive after 8:45.

In addition, if your child(ren) misses school because of a medical appointment, please have the doctor provide a note for our records.

In the event your child receives a positive COVID diagnosis, please make sure to contact us, immediately. We must continue to update the COVID transparency page on our website and be able to work with the health department in their contact tracing efforts.

FEEDING AMERICA MOBILE FOOD DISTRIBUTION

Mark your calendar and share these dates with friends and neighbors! Feeding America Mobile Food Distribution takes place in the Roosevelt Elementary of Zeeland Public Schools in the west parking lot. This is a drive-thru, no contact distribution. All are welcome. No income guidelines or proof of residency required. Questions can be emailed to  lkamer@zps.org.

The event runs 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm on:
