FUN AT IAC THIS WEEK…

While we wish we could be learning in person for the next several weeks, we choose to be grateful for the time to be together THIS week, as well as the opportunity to practice for our Remote Learning launch on November 30th.

Our third and fourth grade class enjoyed a good game of football Friday afternoon. We had a blast on our last day before moving to remote learning!

Hands on experiences help us solidify what we have learned in the classroom. We are so grateful for our partnership with the Outdoor Discovery Center. Learning about cultures is a great way to have understanding for others, and Thursday’s lesson also helped us see how others did not waste and misuse or pollute our beautiful land here in the Great Lakes Region. The middle school students played their games, stepped inside their homes, and explored their ways of life.

Ms Michelle’s Friends enjoyed a beautiful fall day experiencing life as pioneers. Last week we experienced life in an Indigenous Village and we’ll be comparing the two perspectives throughout this week. We love making connections between what we read in class and what we can experience in the world.

Mrs. Mead’s class works so hard all the time! Here was a particularly great day.

REMINDER – VIRTUAL PARENT MEETING ON MONDAY, NOV 23rd

We are looking forward to sharing out our detailed plans and schedules for Remote Learning at 5:00 pm on Monday, November 23rd (NOTE: Time has changed to 5:00 p.m.) . Please use THIS LINK TO JOIN THE MEETING.

THANK YOU

Thanks to all of our families for filling out the Remote Learning Survey as this provides us such GREAT information as we make tiny adjustments to our learning plans; we had 70% of the families share with us. We look forward to sharing more on Monday, November 23rd at our 5:00 pm parent meeting.
