The Allegan County Community Foundation kicked off their “Love Your Hometown” grant project contest and the Fennville District Library’s project is in the running to win a $1,000.00 grant!
Our community partner, the Fennville District Library, needs your help with getting the word out and making sure they get a lot of votes. The project is listed as #CommunityGarden under the Fennville area. Anyone can vote, just supply a zip code and an email address.
Go to www.alleganfoundation.org where you can vote one time per day for my hometown project from February 14th through March 31st, 2019.
The project, which is a community garden, will allow people to grow their own food and also provide educational opportunities for the library’s patrons. The library’s “teaching garden” will provide an outdoor classroom for school library programs and the general public.
We would love to have your help with getting votes for our friends at the Fennville District Library.
