Food Bags
IAC is blessed to be a partner of Community First Lakeshore’s weekend food program. Last week we sent home a letter (on blue paper) asking if your family wanted to participate in this program. If you would like to continue to get weekly food bags, please make sure you return that paper to the office as soon as possible. Additional copies may be picked up at the office.
September Bus Schedule
Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide bussing on the following days in September:
September 12th – no morning or afternoon bus
September 28th – no morning or afternoon bus
September 29th – no morning or afternoon bus
ODC
Our Kindergarten and First Grade friends headed to the Outdoor Discover Center (ODC) this week for their first field trip of the year. They took a nature walk, made potions out of the items they found on their walk and then ended their trip with some fun on the playground.
Welcome Mr Todd
Our IAC family is thrilled to welcome Mr. Todd Norman as our new Interventionist. He will be working alongside kids K-8 who need a little extra help in all areas of our curriculum. Below is a quick summary of Mr Todd. Please help us give him a warm welcome to IAC!
I’ve taught every grade level except ninth grade. I enjoy learning along with my students. I’m curious about how we feel when we learn something new. I like to walk my dogs, Gus and Luna, and I’m always making some new art project. I have an Art degree and a Masters in Elementary Education. Married and have six children, 3 boys and 3 girls.
