THIS WEEK AT IAC…
Ms. Jessica’s friends celebrated Christmas on Friday as a compliment party. Gingerbread houses are a kindergarten favorite! Since we were remote around Christmas time, we wanted to make sure the kindergarteners had the opportunity to make Gingerbread houses this year, even if it meant celebrating Christmas in April!
We are exploring the possibility of starting a preschool for the 2021-2022 school year and would like to hear from you as we continue looking into this. Please complete the survey by clicking HERE.
If you are interested in helping monitor the playground during recess and are fully vaccinated, please let Marty know and he will help coordinate it with you. Recess takes place after lunch from 12:20 to 12:45. Thank you for considering!

We are heading into testing season that will continue – for the most part – throughout the next few months with M-STEP for students in third through eighth grade (the eighth graders showed phenomenal grit and resilience taking the PSAT this week), NWEA MAPS for all students, as well as other math and reading assessments. For many students this creates extra anxiety. A great resource for families to read that helps reduce your child(ren)’s anxiety can be found HERE. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact your child(ren)’s teacher(s).
