Lots of nature based art happening around here! In Ms. Emily’s art class, our 1st and 2nd graders learned about how artists and animators use nature to create art. The class looked at photographs of all the different kinds of penguins that exist. Then, they “painted” these baby Emperor penguins using marker and water. Great job 1st and 2nd graders!!
Ms. Carrie and Ms. Tara taught the students the best way to learn square roots……
Don’t forget: NEXT TUESDAY – local author and illustrator, Amy Young, is hosting a special Zoom session for ALL IAC students and families! She will do an interactive read aloud and wants kids to be ready to draw! JOIN US for this wonderfully engaging after school event!
Selling a box of chocolate is an easy way to support nature-based education —If you want a box sent home today, let your teacher or Ms Tara know.
Congratulations to our monthly drawing winners. These students have displayed good behavior and have followed school expectations – displaying what it means to be IAC: In control, Aware, and Caring.
