FAMILY and STUDENT MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
As you might recall, we have collaborated with Fennville and Glen Public Schools to offer family and student mental health support in western Allegan County. Through this collaboration, we’ve partnered with Pine Rest Mental Health Services. Raeylynn Jimenez will be in our area each Monday and Friday to provide support for our community. If you are interested in speaking with her, please call or email Marty [firstname.lastname@example.org] to get more information. This service is a great example of what a community can provide when we pool our resources together; please consider using it.
PICTURE DAY – OCTOBER 7TH
Student pictures will be taken on October 7th. Please look for the flyer that was sent home with your child. Contact your child’s teacher for another copy if needed. If you child(ren) attend VAAC, please contact Marty to make arrangements for pictures.
Please continue to look for emails, visit the Facebook page, and find information on the website from the Virtual Academy of Allegan County. Digital communication will be the primary tool. Please reach out to your VAAC teacher if you have any questions.
BREAKFAST and LUNCH
Each Thursday from 4:00 – 4:30 at the Fennville Elementary School you can pick up five days worth of breakfast and lunch for your child attending VAAC. Please pull into the circular drive and someone will help you.

Prior to school beginning we indicated we would be reviewing the mask policy after our first week of school. Keeping with the CDC guidelines and recommendations for health and safety, there will be no changes at this time. We will be adhering to our previously published mask policy for all staff and students.
Please screen your child(ren) everyday before sending him/her to school. It’s vitally important for every family to take the time to do this on a daily basis for the safety of all students and staff. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
